Uses Of Hydrogen & Nascent hydrogen

Hello Friends Today i will teach you About Use of Hydrogen .This is my Second Topic . I think you will b fine to be My Student. So Lets Start With Use of Hydrogen and Nascent Mean New Born Hydrogen.

Use of Hydrogen :

Hydrogen is used filling weather baloons.
oxyhydrogen flame(4000C) is used for cutting and welding metals.
it is used in the production of tangsten filament which is used electric bulbs .
liquid hydrogen is used as rocket fuel.
it is used in the preparation of large number of compounds like area methylalkohal vegatable ghee etc.
it is used for the ectraction of metals from their oxides.
liquid hydrogen is used for producing low temperature.
hydrogen is also used for the preparation of plastics and pesticides.

Nascent or Atomic-Hydrogen :

Nascent is a greek word which means "new born" therefore" Hydrogen at the time of its gernation (formation ) during a Chemical reation is called Nascent Hydrogen ."
Zn+2HCL---------> ZNCL2 + 2H
(Nascent Hydrogen)
2H--------->H2 (Molecular Hydrogen)
Nascent Hydrogen is More Reactive Than Molecular Hydrogen:
Atomic Hydrogen is more reacive than molecular hydrogen because it exist in atomic static and cannot exist independently.
it at once reacts with other element or with its own atom to form molecule on the other hand the molecular hydrogen consists
of two atoms which are linked to gether by a strong covalent bond the molecular hydrogen is less reactive beacause we have to supply a lot of energy (103 KCAL/ Mole)
to break this bond between the hydrogen atoms.
